Dr. Mohsin Hamad Al-Athba, assistant professor of commercial law at Qatar University, obtained a master’s degree in Corporate and Banking law in 2015 from Fordham University, USA. He then completed his Doctoral degree studies successfully in Commercial Law from Edinburgh University and was awarded a degree of excellence with honors in 2020. Dr. Mohsin Hamad Al-Athba is a licensed attorney in Qatar with practical experience in the field of civil and commercial law.

Ahmed Al-Ahmed is a former Legal Counsel at Qatar Energy (“QE”) and a former Senior Marketer at Qatar Petroleum for the Sale of Petroleum Products Company Limited (“QPSPP”). With over 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, he specialises in commercial operations and trading of crude oil and its by-products. Ahmed excels in negotiating long-term agreements with clients and is proficient in drafting contracts, policies, procedures, and legal notices.
Mohammed Ahmed

Mohamad has been in the legal profession since 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he was part of a leading law firm in Qatar. His practice at the firm focuses on handling disputes involving civil, commercial, construction, real estate, banking and transaction matters.
Mohamad holds an LLB degree from Qatar University.
Mohamad is a native Arabic speaker, and is also fluent in English.

Omar is currently sitting in the Firm’s disputes team and works collaboratively on a variety of different matters across the Firm’s areas of practice.
Omar joined the Firm in 2022. He holds an LLB degree from University of Khartoum.

Adel Edris

Adel Edris has been in the legal profession since 2014. He is a member of the firm’s Corporate Advisory and Litigation teams. He previously worked as an associate at a reputable law firm in Qatar.
Adel’s practice at the firm focuses on corporate and commercial advisory and dispute resolution work, including legal research, drafting legal opinions and submissions, and reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts. He holds an LL.B. as well from Qatar University. Adel is fluent in Arabic and English.
